It was Fathers Day today so when we left this morning Rick said we were going to a new place and gonna meet some new people...

This place was really fun... lots of music and lots of people giving me lots of Loves...

Here is my new friend from Church... she has this cool scooter that I got to play with and of course she just Loves Me :)

The Story behind me...

It's official... Rick has his I.D. Card for me...

Rick wants me to tell you how I got my name and why it's so Special...

Every once in a while a puppy comes to N.E.A.D.S. without a name...

Well this time it was me and because Linda our Chapter leader will be celebrating 20 years of volunteering "When" I graduate the powers that be wanted to give our Linda an opportunity to name me... In 1993 the first Maine dog was named Moxie... So for her 20 years she wanted to name me Moxie... here's the original with Linda.

Rick says this is a big deal... it's not every day someone works at the same job for 20 years and when they volunteer their time and make sacrifices for an organization for that long expecting nothing but to see peoples lives changed for the better, that is Very Special.

Rick says to be a new puppy raiser for N.E.A.D.S. and have the opportunity to help with such a special project is really cool... This will definitely take the whole village to make this happen, so get ready Maine Group, here I come!!!

Playin in the Rain...

So N.E.A.D.S. sponsored a walk to help raise money...

Guess you can't plan the weather...

Well despite the weather three of us went down to MA to join in for the cause...

Notice Rick is absent, what a Woos...

We started out... wanna talk about rain...

Camile and I decided to make it a short walk...

Kathleen and Monty are Hard Core!!!

Off they went, nothing scares them...

Well hours later... I'm worried, where is Kathleen with my buddy Monty?

I know Rick calls him hurricane Monty but, I don't think he should be out in one...

Phew... Finally... They made it...

I sure was glad to see them safe and sound.

First of many Check-Ins...

Ok, so I guess the last Thursday of every month Rick has to take me back to N.E.A.D.S. for a "check- in". I was told it's to go over any questions Rick has and for them to see how good I'm doing...

Look who's here... and he has his own Van. Monty and Kathleen!

First we go inside to get weighed... Rick says I'm growing wicked fast... Well Ya, I eat everything I can get in my mouth that you don't take away... :)

Monty and I had some quiet time waiting...

These guys are really well behaved, they haven't moved since we got here...

Finally going outside... I guess were going to talk, then into the city...

I don't know what that is but, Rick says were going...

The first person I see won't even say Hi to me :(

Ok we find a really nice place to sit and talk, and talk, and talk and talk...

Rick, if we don't do something soon, I'm gonna Bark.

Finally of to the City...

I'm not so sure about this place, it's awful noisy and I don't see any trees or good places to play

I'm gonna stick close to you Norton...

We go to another place that's pretty cool but they stuffed us all in a Glass Box that goes up and down...

This City thing sure is Crazy!

Ok, were finally leaving but, wait...

My buddy Norton is staying here :(

Rick says he's moving on...

Documentary???

Ok, a special outing...

See a friend of ours is graduating High School and for his senior project he made a documentary about  N.E.A.D.S. puppy raisers. Of course we were invited...

We all watched and were very impressed... He did a Great job and Me and Norton with our raisers of course got to go up on the stage with him and show off...

 

After, we were all hungry so we went out to eat...

Off course the peeps ate I was under the table...

Finally back outside...

Are you kidding, more unders... UGH.

After all that we visited Sue & Norton in his final class... He's moving on...

He's really fun, were all gonna miss him...

Before the class I met a new friend... He really liked me :)

Memorial Day Weekend...

Friday night we met my friend Norton and the people got something to eat...

Norton and I had to practice unders... UGH, I think Rick is gonna make a habit of this...

Norton says, I can count on it... See he's moving on this week and still has to do them

This is the most boring thing ever...

Sunday we all met again for a Parade...

Parts of it were loud but I didn't mind...

My friends were with me... Norton, Camile & Mindy

Then my other friend showed up, Monty, Ya...

Kathleen wouldn't let him play :(

We had fun... I even shared my stick with Norton...

After the parade we went for a walk, Rick says we need to experience different things...
